This investigation stems from skepticism of new technologies. The uncertainty is more apparent in the clash of generations. The older generation has to learn new procedures and break old habits. The younger generation view new media as the status quo. Research and studies have been conducted to see how new media is changing culture and daily life, however, in terms of the young adult and adult who may have experienced life in the ways of old media. The object of focus will be the effect of new media on children. The prevalence of electronic media in the stages of early childhood is increasing in both the home and at school prompting the evaluation of technology and its educational value.
